Join us at Three Rivers Community Farm in Alton, IL. We will be harvesting fresh produce to share with families in need through Operation Food Search's network agencies.
This is a farm we have regularly visited and we are excited to return!
Gleaning is harvesting crops from the farm that would otherwise go unused and donating them to individuals and families within Operation Food Search's network of food pantries.
Dress Code:
- Wear layered, comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Be mindful of the weather forecast and dress accordingly: rain jackets, water resistant shoes like work boots or hiking shoes are recommended
- Closed-toe shoes are required. Please no sandals or flip flops
Volunteers under the age of 16 are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult.
