Join us at Green House Venture in South St. Louis. We will be harvesting fresh produce to share with families in need through Operation Food Search's network agencies. Students that participate in GHV educational program will be present for part of this glean to learn about the impact of the food they helped grow.
Gleaning is harvesting crops from farms and gardens that would otherwise go unused and donating them to individuals and families within Operation Food Search's network of food pantries.
Dress Code:
Wear layered, comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Be mindful of the weather forecast and dress accordingly: rain jackets, water resistant shoes like work boots or hiking shoes are recommended. Closed-toe shoes are required. Please no sandals or flip flops.
Volunteers under the age of 16 are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult.
