This volunteer opportunity is to help pack donated personal care items that are collected by the Girls Scouts on April 12. Donated items include but are not limited to shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, paper towels, toilet paper, tampons, pads and more. These items are distributed to Operation Food Search's partner agencies to be shared with families in need at no cost!
Donated items are packed into boxes and placed onto large trailers. Please see the details below.

Volunteer tasks:

take the personal care items from the Girl Scout leaders' cars

place the items in boxes

lift (30-35 lb) packed boxes and place boxes on pallets

shrink wrap the pallet of boxes
By volunteering you are helping to provide millions of personal care items to families in need throughout the region!
The event will go on with rain, shine, snow, or any other kind of weather!
The minimum age to volunteer is 16 without a parent/guardian or 12 with a parent/guardian.
