Community Food Partner Agencies are vital to our ability to get food to the community. The nearly 200 partners, including pantries, churches, shelters and other community sites, are largely volunteer-run and require great dedication to the people they serve. This volunteer opportunity is to help us prepare for an agency training.
Volunteer Tasks:
Assist in setting up Lobby and Volunteer Center for special event. Includes:
- Cleaning and arranging tables and chairs to floor plan.
- Set up signing and table décor
- Some limited lifting may be required.
Important Information:
- Wear close toed shoes, no sandals are allowed for safety concerns.
- You will be in a warehouse setting, please wear casual clothes that can get dirty.
- Feel free to bring water bottles, we have a fountain that you can refill them at.
