We are also looking for volunteers to help us collect April Showers donations on Saturday, April 24 from 10 AM - 2 PM.
Operation Food Search (OFS) and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri come together with our local family-owned grocery store, Schnucks, to host April Showers and to collect personal care items. Many volunteers are needed to position themselves outside of Schnucks stores throughout the St. Louis area to encourage shoppers to donate personal care items as they shop. Must be 18 years+. All volunteers must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
We are seeking 2 volunteers per store and per shift. The stores will allow 1 person at the entrance and 1 at the exit. The shifts will be 10 AM - 12 PM OR 12 -2 PM or 10 AM-2PM. All materials that will be needed for the volunteer opportunity, can be picked up at the assigned store.
