Join us at Liberty Apple Orchard in Edwardsville, IL. We will be harvesting fresh apples to share with families in need through Operation Food Search's network of partner agencies.
Gleaning is harvesting crops from the farm that would otherwise go unused and donating them to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Dress Code:
Wear layered, comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Be mindful of the weather forecast and dress accordingly: rain jackets, water resistant shoes like work boots or hiking shoes are recommended. Closed-toe shoes are required. Sun hats and sunscreen are encouraged as well. Please bring sunglasses or other eye protection.
Volunteers under the age of 16 are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult.
