Volunteer: Milk Pallet Prep

Our Operation Backpack program is looking for a Milk Pallet Packing Volunteer for the Satellite leg of our Operation Backpack program!

Operation Backpack not only provides bags of shelf stable food to kids to take home over the weekends when they don't have access to school lunches, we also support outside partner groups that operate their own Backpack programs by providing them with shelf stable milk and cereal to supplement the bags that they pack for the children of their communities.

This volunteer role will be packing up to 20 pallets of milk according to the orders we receive from our Satellite Partners. This role can be quite a workout and requires an individual who is able to repetitively lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time. Please note that the volunteer shift may not take the entire two hours that are posted.
