Volunteer Task:
Organize food from food drives/donations
- This food is organized into large boxes that go to our community partners to be distributed to families in need at no cost
Tasks include:
- Vetting donated non-perishable food items for expiration dates and making sure they are safe to consume
- Marking bar codes
- Organizing food into boxes
- Placing boxes on pallets
- Making boxes
This helps feed 200,000 people a month!
All volunteer groups include a tour of Operation Food Search's facility.
Important information:
- Wear close toed shoes, no sandals are allowed for safety concerns.
- You will be in a warehouse setting, please wear casual clothes that can get dirty.
- Feel free to bring water bottles, we have a fountain that you can refill them at.
